AUTOPOUR PRESSURE DIE CASTING FURNACES FOR GREY CAST IRON AND DUCTILE IRON

GMS manufactures pressure type furnaces, named AUTOPOUR, for automatic casting of grey and ductile cast iron for different type of automatic molding lines.

The pouring of liquid metal is performed by pressure or gravity, depending on the technological requirements of the process.

AUTOPOUR furnaces are manufactured in two different version: coreless MF furnace and basin CH type with channel inductor, this last also powered by IGBT power converter.

GMS furnaces have different capacity from 2 tons up to 12 tons crucible capacity with several converter power from 150 kW up to 750 kW.

These furnaces are equipped with the "AUTO" system designed for the automatic management of the casting process.


POUR MATE FURNACES FOR GREY CAST IRON AND DUCTILE IRON

GMS, continuing the line of CALAMARI products, manufactures furnaces that are particularly suitable for automatic casting of ductile cast iron.

Our POUR MATE furnaces are hot ladles powered by IGBT converters, with electric drive and automated centering on X-Y axis, particularly suitable for automatic pouring on DISAMATIC, horizontal or vertical lines, or for horizontal molding lines.

To reduce maintenance times, these furnaces have been designed with pre-shaped refractory crucible, pre-dried and easy to replace.

For pouring of ductile cast iron our POUR MATE are equipped with automatic post-inoculation station.

These furnaces are equipped with the "AUTO" system designed for the automatic management of the casting process.


“AUTO” SYSTEM FOR CASTING MANAGEMENT

GMS plants are equipped with our system “AUTO” for the automatic full control of the pouring ensuring constant respect of:

Metallostatic Level

Automatic opening / closing of the stopper

Centering of the pouring cup of the mould / flask

Pouring cup level control of the mould / flask

Pouring temperature control

The AUTO system can be turned off  in every moment letting the operator taking back the control of the casting.
